Privacy Policy

InterpreCourt LLC
Effective date: October 15, 2026

1. Who we are

InterpreCourt LLC (“InterpreCourt”, “we”, “us”) is a language services company. We provide interpreting, translation and related services to courts, government agencies, healthcare providers, schools and other organizations. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use our website (interprecourt.com), our online request form and client portal, the InterpreCourt on-demand interpreter app (the “App”), and our interpreting services (together, the “Services”).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request or book an interpreter, contact us, or register for our portal, we may collect your name, organization, job title, email, phone number, appointment details (date, time, location, language, type of service), and reference numbers your organization asks us to use, such as a case number.

App information. To use the App, an authorized user enters a Client ID and PIN issued by InterpreCourt, a device name, and optional contact details. We also receive basic call information, such as the date, time, length and language of each call, and any rating or feedback you choose to give. The App does not store protected health information on your device, and calls are encrypted in transit.

Information shared during an interpreted session. Interpreters hear and relay what is said during a session so that people can understand each other. This can include personal, legal or health information. Interpreters may not use or share this information for any other purpose. InterpreCourt interpreters do not record interpreted sessions.

Website information. Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and general location. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

3. How we use information

  • To schedule, provide and support interpreting and translation services.
  • To connect App users with an available interpreter in the language they
    choose.
  • To bill our clients and pay our interpreters.
  • To answer questions, provide support and send service-related messages.
  • To check quality, train interpreters and improve our Services.
  • To keep our Services secure and to meet legal, contract and regulatory
    requirements.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Interpreters and translators who provide the service you requested. They
are bound by confidentiality obligations and professional codes of ethics.
  • Service providers that help us run the Services, such as scheduling, video
and phone platforms, hosting, email and payment providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Your organization, when it is our client, for example records of services provided for billing and reporting.
  • Legal reasons, when the law, a court order or a government request requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.

5. Health information (HIPAA)

When we provide services to a healthcare provider or health plan covered by HIPAA, we handle protected health information as that client’s business associate, under a business associate agreement, and only as that agreement and the law allow.

6. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access limited to people who need it, and confidentiality agreements with our team and interpreters. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as our contracts or the law require, and then delete or de-identify it.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask questions about how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. If we provide services for your organization, we may refer your request to that organization. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

9. Children

Our website and App are meant for organizations and their staff and are not directed to children under 13. Interpreting services may involve minors when a client requests it, and that information is handled under this policy and the client’s agreement with us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
